For you frillneck fans

Found this lil guy today! was only a fairly small frillneck (have seen much larger ones here before) and I was pretty fortunate, cause he let me get really close to get some better photos. Just thought I'd share

yeah, I see quite a few of these guys around the uni. not as many as i did last year, cause I used to see them near the jcu library (that entire area) and at the college.. but i no longer go near the library (lectures are in a different location) but theyre not too hard to find, theyre everywhere!

Thats awesome! Glad to hear our not near the library too much

I didnt know JCU did vet science, i know they have a fairly strong interest in herps at JCU, do they give you any herp specific vet courses?

I have most of my own textbooks, so dont need the library too much but i used to walk past it daily to get to my lectures, but no longer do.

I dont think we get offered any herp specific subjects... they have taken us to billabong sanctuary to do a reptile handling course though, which was awesome. my favourites were the red belly black and the olive python.. as well as the shingleback!
