slithered right over my foot, around my ankle and through my bike spokes

i had a similar brownsnake story when i was a postie.
i had one slither across my path when i was delivering the mail
and i stopped and followed it
and it got scared and went round a tree then back and under my postie bike
it was a 37 deg day and it was very active LOL
it struck at me a few times but it was more intent on getting away
as it was out in the open
