Good question Zeus......i was lucky to be a witness to see mine dieing. There was a big bubble rise from the clam and as it hit the surface and exploded a sound of a clam dieing popped!

| | Suspended | Join Date: Feb-04 Location: Sydney | | | | RE: Freshwater clams! I've seen them in the creek that runs through the Yarramalong Valley. It flows from Mangrove dam down to Mardi. We always called them freshwater mussels. I am assuming they are they same thing.
