Smile Fully automated vivarium

Hey all...thought i'd share i finally got my vivarium all set up just the way i want it. Its good to know i can leave it for a few days and everything will be fine.

I'm an electrician BTW so if there's a lazy way to do something i'll try it.
I got a timer from work and put it in an enclosure with a circuit breaker for protection and wired a socket outlet (to the normally closed side of the timer.....to come on at night only-for a heat mat controlled through a thermostat). Then wired a 4-way box from the timer (normally open) to come on in the day to control the lights and ceramic heater(thermostat controlled too).

Now i have peace of mine i can leave my Bredli and she will be fine. The good thing is it only cost me for the theromstats, everything else was from work but would have cost around $200

PS- for my bredli yearling im running about 31-33 under the basking spot and 26 in the cool end. At night temps get down to about 20-23. Does this sound ok.....open to helpful critisism??!!

that all sounds good to me.
wow fully automated-
the closest ive got is a switch attatched to a thermostat.
you flick the swith up and the white lights go on(day), down red(night) and the middle is off.

i also managed to get my hands on some 'electronic' starters for my fluros. They extend the bulb life heaps and stop the ends from going brown/black. An 18inch UVA/B fluro tube goes for around $35 here in SA so a little money saving tip.

This is what I use. Have a wall outlet RCD (safety switch). Then the 4 timer outlet from Bunnings. Each outlet can either be manual or set to automatic operation from the timer. The Microclimate B1 I have not got it timed at the moment, but thinking of putting in a heat mat to give him another hot spot. I will put that on one of the other timed outlets.
