gecko cage position

this might sound like a silly question, but............... i was thinking of moving my marlbed velvet geckos cage literally into my entertainment unit. i have a wooden entertainment unit with a cabnet underneath the TV cavitity, i'm think of taking the doors off and slotting it in the cabnet.
anyone think that the noise or viberations of the TV will annoy or scare my lil guy?

yes i think itd scare it to death. Remember that they are much more sensitive to noise/vibrations than we are...and we sit well back from the noise of the TV.

that's what i orginally thought, but every now and then i see TV unit conversions so the display cabnets either side of the TV are reptile enclosures, always DIY jobs though, never pro

I've seen AHG's living in a washing machine housing, I doubt a telly is going to bother your geckos too much.

if you have your TV at a decent volume and not too loud it shouldnt be too bad, however if you have subs and so on and a big set of speackers i dont recommend having the geckos even in the same room lol. its most likely not the wisest of ideas but yea if you put the best interests of the gecko first and keep your TV at a good volume and so on then you should be fine.

actually that would be a good idea, pad the out side of the tank(sides and back) and that may help lower the sound and even lower some vibration. lol and i know how you feel lol living the student life

i also have 2 marbled velvet geckos and they are kept in one of the quieter rooms of the house.

so if possible leave them where they are.
