|  | Regular Member | Join Date: Jan-08 Location: NSW Age/Gender: 19  | | | hey i have a reptile one tank witch i used to keep frogs in it has no lights and i want to keep a gecko in it but i have a heat rock and i was wondering if i could use them insted of a light and i f i do use the rock do i still have to take them out in the sun??

Depending on what type of heat rock it is, it will probably get too hot for a gecko. The cage will be fine to use, but buy a heat pad for it. Heat rocks suck, generally speaking...
