I once saved a really skinny one and I spent like 10mins trying to catch him |

No geckos like to be handled - some tolerate it but most don't. I would suggest Underwoodisaurus milii as a good 'starter' gecko. There are many different species you could potentially keep however - alot with differing requirements. So you'll probably have to narrow your questions down a bit to specific species to get more detailed responses. |

I'm 100% Rocket, Chanty, and Hornet here.
Do your research on gecko. While some species will tolerate a little handling, it is highly recommended that one does not do so.
If you want a handling pet try a small snake or a beardie.
If you want to risk freakin a gecko out by handling, either killing it or have it drop its tail in distress then by all means waste your money.
