Aussie Pythons and Snakes

hey,
I was just wondering what everyone does when they go away for on holiday for a week or so, if not longer. How do they feed there herps especially lizards?? I would imagine that it would be hard to find someone that is not herp savy to come and feed them.

Just wondering what everyone does?

um well i have several neighbors scared but yet intrigued and allwasy want to come watch me feed monty im sure if i went away again and noboy was here i would ask them apart from that a friend from skewl or sumthing

Only got snakes so dont have to worry about food only fresh water .
But my mate will look after them .

Just get someone in the same town as you that keeps herps to baby sit, or feed and clean while you are gone.

I now have a neighbour who offered to feed the cat if we ever went away so I asked if he would feed the other animals. He checks the rats food and water and feeds the lizards. He Checks the snakes and he has a number to call of someone with more experience if there is a problem. I try to farm out any animals in care during that period or take them with me if they need constant care.

Im in sydney, and would love to look after other peoples animals if they want. Just give me the food and animal and i should be able to find a spot for them.

lol well i dont know if it was like beared dragons just leave them and get them to trim each others limbs lol

I am near Bondi so not far from you Teamsherman. I am going away to Europe for about a month during the christmas and new years period. I will be looking at getting some Shingleback to thats the only thing that would need to be looked after. I would supply the food or money if needed.

i went to qld the other week and a mate looked after all my herps while he looked after the house, he even cleaned cages while i was away and fresh water for everything. he is not a herp person but he likes them and he even got a bite off one of my stimmie's. quite funny when he called me and told me wat happened.

I have just realised that i am not going to be able to get someone to change my snakes water so i was just wondering if anyone would be able to baby sit some (or all of my snakes). Just 2 juvenile carpets and a juvenile bredli.
I would suply the food and some money on the side to make it worth while, it would be for about a month.

PM if you can take all or just one of the snakes, and please supply a location.
