Good Thermostat?

I just won the bidding (well mum did actually) for 2 of these thermostats (brand new) for $30 each
Is this a good price?
Any experience in using them before?

they arn't the same as this brand, i thought this brand was worth more than that

I think you need a sparky to come around and hook them up. Especially if you have no previous experience with eletronics. I made that mistake, a probe thermostat seems easier even though they are a bit more expensive.
