Hi all!!!
Just in need of a bit of an opinion!!!
My female beardie looks gravid but she must have already been with a male before I got her as I have only had her a couple of weeks.
I thought I would put up some pics for opinions??
I have already put a nesting box into the enclosure for her and organized an incubator, so I'm all ready if she lays!
I can't actually feel eggs? I couldn't when a friend got me to look at his beardie that was just about to lay! hehehe I'm not too good at it yet!!!
I hope she does well if she is as she is a lovely girl!!!
Thanks for any opinions!!!!
Kerri

She certainly looks a lot bigger than when you got her.
But maybe thats cause she is keeping up with stumps in the eating dept ... lol...
Excellent and Good Luck if she is...

I just love what you have done with the habitat...GREAT STUFF!!
She does look a bit on the peared side of things...most beardies look like their skin tents down from their backbone to allow for extra storage when gravid.. i tend to agree/ unless she hasnt been to the toilet too often lately...my girls at the last week before laying will do lots of little doo's as they cant hold much in ..it makes them comfortable

Be patient is all I can say. My pygmy beardie is obviously gravid and I can feel eggs, however she has been scratching for several weeks now to no avail. Getting frustrated!

Looks gravid to me, you should be able to feel eggs very soon, if not now, laybox looks good. I found for stubborn layers you may need to move the laybox around ie, to the warmer half of the enclosure, another good tip is to dig a narrow hole 20 - 30 cm into the sand yourself (at an downwards angle) and push the beardie head first into it, it often is enough to kick in the "must lay eggs now" instinct and they start digging out more instantly.
