gravid female

is it odd for gravid females to sit in and on top of their water bowls

I have no idea....but I thought that when they're near laying/giving birth/whatever its called you're supposed to remove water bowls apart from monitored drinking times as captive reptiles tend to lay in water just to be annoying...
or something like that. but hey..dont listen to me..im just a newb!

i dont think she is that close yet

but thanks for that

oh and she is not hot the enclosure is only 30 at the hot end ( at the moment )

No i was told they tend to do that to relieve the pressure on thier bodies,

well it could mean differant things she could be gravid or have mites or just wanting to cool down .................................................. ......take your pick :wink:

You can't see any mites is a good indication
