is it keep indoors??????i guess it isnt impossible, but is againnst the grain, they usually lay there 2 clutches per year in november, then dec/jan but it depends on alot of things, its obviously a young one,ive had beardeds lay there first clutches in april at 9 months of age with out being cooled over there first winter, and all the eggs hatched, may i ask why u suspect its possably carrying eggs???

hey richard,

thanks for replying, yeah its a young one, just i noticed shes getting quite large in the abdominal area and is basking as late as possible nowadays while the other goes to hide it is still up basking. i also palpated her abdomen and it felt like it could be eggs, but am skeptical. the one it is with is supposed to be a female and is older and larger and yes they are kept inside. its just seems to dam small to have eggs plus its way out of season

i find its hard to feel eggs in the sometimes, but fattness can be a sign, but could just means its pigged out with the weather cooling down a bit, preping for brumation,do they live outdoors or inside, my trio of easterns live outside year round in melbourne, there still popping out of late as well, the weather has been really average
