Green Tree Snake

Hey eveyone,
Does anyone keep green tree snakes?
Are they easy to look after and what sort of price do they cost???
oh yeah and i'm not talking about the pythons, i know i cant afford one of them!
thanks for your help.

Hi ianp,

They eat and poo a LOT. When they're do doing either of those they are extremely inquisitive and active snakes. Great fun to keep. Not the best for handling due to they speed and jumping ability. My favorites. Do a search of past threads, there have been a few topics on GTS over the last 12 months

figured they wouldnt be to cheap..
do they live in the same set- up as a pytnons would??

anyone have a pic of a gts and a gtp who can point out the differences? i thought they were one and the same till this thread

VERY differnt, they dont look REMOTELY simillar (sorry dont have pics) but the snake isnt really so much green as youd imagine, and has a snake head, the python looks well... like a big green/blue/or red python (babies are fluro yellow)

first one is the green tree snake, 2nd python shaped one is the green tree python.
