I put my big boy in his new home yesterday afternoon. I put the heat cord under the rocks and in my opinion it gets too hot, should i tape it underneath the wood? I have turned it off for now and would really appreciate your in put on this issue.
He seemed happy to explore but seemed not to like the feel of the rocks. He got a bit snappy as you can see in the pics but i think that he was just nervous being out of his element.
I will put some sticks for him to climb on in there today.

I have turned the heat cord off as i think the rocks would have burnt him atm the heat is 25 degrees. i have a thermostat set at 30 for the hot end should i put the metal probe touching the rocks with the heat cord? At the moment it is stuck on the side of the enclosure.
