Instead of 'experimenting and see', I'd like to know what people would suggest for a heatcord length and wattage for an Esky 52w x 32d x 32h. Its one of those old style eskys with plastic inside, metal 'casing' outside, plastic lid.
I was thinking considering down both sides and along the bottom is about 94cm, and its 52long, if I had heatcord 10cm apart starting at each end, thats about 6m.....so a 6m 50w cord?. Would I need to put heatcord on every side - I was thinking just running it along the long sides and bottom, not on the short 'ends'. Would this be ok?
I was going to attach the cord with hot glue, or is this not a good idea? The only thing that concerns me is the section of cord under the glue might overheat?
