heating enclosures

hey

ok so i have found an awsome enclosure thing but it is basically just a box with 2 levels.
with some renovations it will be made escape proof. all i really need to no is what else needs to be in there. as in heat mats and lights and all that......
if you can offer any info then that would be the best!!

umm no photo. still deciding on getting it.
for a carpet python. the two levels are seperated by a bord so it can go in one while it's little and then when it gets bigger i can kinda unseperate it so it has a larger place to roam...
does that sound alright?
