take out all containers(including foods) making sure all woodies are in the tub...place new egg cartons upside down in their.. put container in a very bright area, sometimes i use a torch
insects should go hide in the underside of the egg cartons you have put their.... put all egg cartons in another sealed container..if you dont have one big enough... vasiline the top of your laundry sink with the plug in they shouldnt escape! |

I normally dont bother and leave the tubs until I am going to sell off whole colonies. The babies that I cant get out get mortiened The tubs can go a long time before being cleaned out (2-3 months). In fact I find they breed better with some poo in the bottom, but not so much that the colony gets moist. I think it gives the babies something to borrow in (yuck).
Dont use vasoline, it is an absolute mess. Use fluon (as in the tub I gave you), much cleaner and more effective.
