HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey every one...
One of my beardies has escaped and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions where he may be?? I have looked everywhere and I cant find him. I am worried that he has gone down stairs cause the tiles are cold and I dont want him to cool down too much. Can they go down stairs??
Any suggestions
Liana

Uh oh!! Try the flour trick, ie. dust the floor in flour and follow the footprints.

Liana,
Have you looked on the backs of your curtains, and up higher than you would normally.
They are pretty good climbers and feel secure up higher.
Also, the back of your fridge, computer, and any other heat sources.
Good luck, I hope you find him soon.

Neil

My fav female beardie spent a night in the garage with my 2 cats after getting out of her enclosure (still dont' know how she managed to move 6ply glass). She got cold during the night and mustn't have moved and found her after ripping room apart and ringing everyone (sorry chris w, shane, darin etc etc) telling them that she had been stolen and it was obvious that they only wanted her, bypassing all my olives, macs etc. Still cop ribbing about it 3 years later.
Anyway, night time is probably the best time to look as they get cold and settle in for a sleep, unless your house is pretty warm they might not be making midnight jaunts, unlike snakes that are nocturnal, so flour may not be as usefull as it is when trying to find pythons.

If you have temp control in your house (ducted air conditioning) make it nice and cool and this will (hopefully) maximise your chance of finding him. Also try make your house seal proof (dontl eave doors open etc.)

im not speeking from experiance but its just comman sence.

cheers, jeremy

ps: if you do have cats this may be a bad idea as he cant run away at top speeds to escape.

Now that you have found him I would go over his enclosure and make sure he can't get out again.

He's not grumpy cause you found him, he's grumpy at not being fed for 2 days.
