| | | Help! desperate for a python Hi everyone,
i'm in need of help because i absolutely love snakes and i really really want to get a python but my mum is really against the idea.
I would be getting a children's python because it's obviously my first snake.
I need some information that will convince my mum that it would be alright to get a python. - I live in brisbane and what can i do about heat in the house during summer and how will this affect my python?
- i want to convert my tv cabinet to an enclosure are there any woods that are harmful?
and any other general tips u'd give to convince her
pretty pretty please help i think i'll die without one |

And welcome to APS.

They are happy to be handled or not as your mood goes (unlike a dog that needs constant attention). Also a pure bred pup will cost $800 up a pure bred python can be had for under $250.

Mum was against the idea, but saw how interested I was about reptiles. Was adamant to start with but then started asking me questions.
Just do all the reading you can and then start a debate you can't lose

up your way if you shop around you will get a carpet for $100 and you will pay more for a childreni i reckon. they start small but they grow like weeds. you sound like a young bloke...imagine in three years when you walk out of your bedroom with a tame 7 foot snake wrapped around your neck...can't do that with a childreni
