wow, umm is it 24 degrees on the hot end, the cold end or overall??

FIRST OFF the temps should range from around 28 to 30-31 degrees. The colder temps would make it quite difficult for a snake to digest a meal let alone allow the digestion to proceed quickly.

Also has the snake been drinking? My suggestion would be to turn the temps up and also let in soak for a bit in a tub of luke warm water which generally encourages bowel movements.

Hope this helps.

what kind of snnake?

i agree, the temps are too low, most like a warm end around 31C.

then again, 2 weeks isnt too bad for mot pooing, my bredli holds onto 6 weeks (thats 2 rats) worth befoer a shed.

I would make sure the temp are up like 28 - 30 to 24 - 22 cold end, with plenty of water, snakes thermo-regulate there body temp and can only bring there temp up by 2 degrees by like shivering.
A snakes body temp needs to be 30 degrees for them to digest its food and stay active enough to want to eat. Thats why they need a cold spot to keep there temperature from getting high, the only time there temperature is dropped is when there ready for breeding and have not been eating. always use a thermostat with a safety cut of switch. if it still persist then see a vet.
cheers steve.

MrIllusion - give some more details of your enclosure setup and temperatures...a 100W spotlight will EASILY overheat a mid sized enclosure - you can DEFINATELY achieve a hotter spot than 24*C

...with small Monitors I can achieve a hot spot of 75*C with a 100W globe...

...how did you record your temperatures? Where did you take the measurements from?

...Is your snake coming into a shed? Many will hold onto their crap until they shed and then drop it at the same time...
