Hi just wanting to know who has one..... Just got mine and the 'in' temp display just shows 'LLL.LL' .... doesnt say anything about this on the instructions .... anyone know what its upto?

yep tried reset ... I cant find a brand name and am at work now but It came from strictly reptiles....I will ring if nobody says its normal and I am very happy with my order  just cant figure this thing out ... all the other functions work ... does anyone from strictly come in this forum ? just dont want to waste thier time ringing them

no its a dual probe thermometer and hygrometer .. I had to set the time and all the buttons work for out and alarm and humidity % but the in buttin just shows LLL.LL

ok so i was fully gutted that it wasn't working but then as I was having another winge I started pulling the batteries in and out about 6 times and then... yay it worked  YAY!!!....
but now....
the in is displaying 30c and the out is 32.4c doh so now can anyone help a silly little bunny?

i beleive the 'out' measures the temp... if your lookign for VERY acurite temps, measure in farenhieght..

Accurate i think you mean, anyway, doesnt matter what you use C or F the unit will only measure what it measures, regardless of the display unit.
The unit you have got is a dual thermometer. The base unit measures the "Inside" temp and the cord is the "outside" temp. The other cord is the hygrometer probe.
I dont know what you meant with your last message, but i am pretty tired.

oops sorry its late ....no i mean like its going from 89% to 49% and if the 2 probes are side by side and reading different temps..... its now started to flick back and forth to LLL.LL again so hugsta said send it back  I was so happy to get it too.... thanks for the help anyway guys
