A lot of the more 'pro herps' are in Hawkesbury..I know one of the founding members......
Have NFI where it is though
I am a member of AHS, and whilst I cannot attend the meetings, I find it to be a great society!

Yeh, HAwks Herps is out west. At Richmond.
Meetings are 2nd Friday of each month at 7.30pm at the Country Women's Association Hall, West Market St Richmond.
Can't remember membership costs but is worthwhile to be a member.
Free entry to Reptile Park, social events, herping w/ends etc.
They normally try to get a guest speaker there every month.
Last month was Ken Griffiths on photography and reptiles, month before was Tim Carrol CSL-venomous snakes.
Hope this helps.

You're stuck right in the middle of the only 2 western Sydney herp clubs old mate. The one mentioned at Richmond and the other one is the Macarthur Herp society at Campbelltown. (Bradbury Community Hall. 3rd Friday of each Month. 7:30pm start)

SA herp group - meeting at science building, Adelaide uni, second thursday of the month 7:30 pm. Members are a mixture of amateurs (like me) and professional herps, the depth of knowledge is amazing.
Upcoming meeting is the annual general meeting and a members show and tell.
