here's a few for interest sake. Worked for DOC in NZ for 2 years same as CALM here. Had privilege of visiting Stephen's island, one of few island sanctuaries harbouring tuatara as well as native frogs, green tree geckos, countless species of skinks, giant wetas and clouds of nesting sea birds.
Any ideas on the skink in the third photo, what species?
The fourth is my stimpson.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing
I'm most jealous-I want one of those green tree geckoes!!!!
Although if I ever get to NZ I hope I don't encounter a weta *shudder*
Sorry I can't help with the skink ID.

actually the third pick was taken on the great central highway in WA. NZ has a surprising number of species of tree geckos with the most insane colourations as well as many different species of skinks not to mention four species of native frog wihich are the only frogs in the world who lay there eggs on the land and they hatch as fully formed frogs. The problem is that because NZ has no native mammals apart from two species of tiny bats that when the english introduced mammals and predators such as stoats, cats and ferrets that it totally destroyed the eco system and took its toll on the many species of reptiles.
