I agree, a fox or not its still an animal (obviously I'm not a farmer).

I don't know if I would have been game enough to catch it considering its teeth, and how they are good at tearing up sheep, but still, a good deed mate.

Let the fox go so it can recover and go and eat the Lacy you saw, great. Head under the front tyre does the job quick.

I agree put the thing out of its misery, but don't re release it. - it will sit and suffer until it slowly dies a painful death.

Hmmm

Wasn't the fox fault it was introduced to this country, only trying to survive like all other animals ( including humans ). Was a good thing you did even though they kill natives...............but so do cats and you can buy them at a pet store. Even if it dies you know you tried.

You are obviously a kind person, but at what expence? Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. Seriously if that fox lives it will kill alot of native wildlife and that is simply fact.

well done for your consideration of at least trying to save it, but yeah it might kill a lot of native wildlife it it does survive, but if you all think about it before having a go at this bloke all animals have to eat and foxes are no different, more likely to eat things that are already dead then to go out and kill something

Most canids are scavengers. A fox would much rather eat dead things than hunt down live things.

Why shouldn't we tell tooben the facts? Does this mean we are having ago at him for doing so? Harden up people this is a well known native animal killer and should never be saved. If you know this, then to do so is irresponsible, whether you feel good saving it or not.
