Hide temperature

I'm building a tall enclosure for my Jungle that is about 2m tall. Its got cupboards below and I've made a trick fake rock with a piece of pipe in it. this rock then sits over a hole in the bottom of the enclosure and gives access for the snake to the hide below. The hide is separate from the rest of the tank, therefore not exposed to the ceramic heat lamps. My question is, should the hide be heated, or is the hide supposed to be at the cool end of the thermal gradient in an enclosure.
Thanks for your advice

If you put another hide up higher your snake will move around to regulate its temp . If it never goes in the bottom one then it needs a heater .

you should have a hide in the cool part of the encosure and one in the warm part.
