holding snakes

how long can a snake stay outside of its enclosure?

It really does depend on the snake I guess. I think that the average time that you're suppose to have them out each time is around 15 minutes. But some people have theirs out for 2 hours or more, and their snakes are happy.

Yeah, I think that you can handle your python for as long as it is content to be held. They get a little more restless when they're sick of handling and you can tell to put them back. That said, I'd have no idea on the handling times for other snakes...

Like I said it all depends on the snake and person. So if you're concerned, then just have him/her out for 10 - 15 minutes each time you have him or her out.

My Stimpie sits on my head while I watch tele, lol. I take her out twice a day for 15 mins or so...

Happy? Meaning the snake isn't stressted, or acting weirdly.. I think the person would be able to tell when the snake has had enough.
