| | Yes, that Hix Moderator | Join Date: Mar-04 Location: Sydney | | | Gordon: there are something like six species of cobra which can spit venom a distance of some metres. Actually, squirt is probably a better decrisption of the action. And they have good aim, usually going for the eyes of their attacker.
And Falnyet: you can only get a Ball Python if you own a zoo, or have an exhibitor's license. And even then, you have to find someone with licensed Ball that they want to sell. You can't breed them, either.

From memory their pupils instead of being vertical were horizontal. That actual Vine Snake could have been mine as I donated mine to the Singapore Zoo when I left.

As a kid I had heaps of these snakes as pets and the under side of these snakes is not green but bright yellow....... These are beautiful snakes and harmless to humans.......... The sad thing is, the shape of their head has made most people believe that these snakes pierce human eyes if u get too close but the truth being these snakes can do nothing to harm a person and also due to ignorance people kill these snakes on sight and its not just this snake but any snake that they might come across......... I’m definitely gona get a pair of these snakes when I go back to my country………
