How 2 Kill

just wondering what some hints are on putting furry food to sleep before dinner as my lil dude doesn't mind non living food

The easiest and most simple way to dispatch "furry food" is to grasp them by the tail and hit them onto a solid surface i.e brick wall , a big piece of timber or the like. Try hitting them head first. If done correctly they don't feel a thing and are dispatched quickly. Other people will suggest gassing with CO2 but if you are only doing 1 or 2 every now and again, the brick wall is the way to go.

Unless you are keeping and breeding them, in which case Gregory's method is what I have used in the past.

I don't know that they'd have a preference but you could try and see if it will accept thawed ones. It sure won't make any difference nutrition wise anyway.
