how big do water pythons grow

just wondering how big do water pythons grow to and are they a good python to handle and what size enclosure will it need to be housed in when an adult

Yep - may be snappy when small but most grow out of it

Actually in my experience they get to about 8' or bigger as an average in captivity. They seem to be larger than their wild counterparts, i don;t know many people with adults under 8'. I've even seen one or two that would have cracked 3m and weighed in at well over 10kg.

Hope you are right - One of mine is 2 1/2 and is just under 2 meters, a three meter rainbow would look spectacular

Yeah, keep up the food and they keep growing till they are at least 5 in my experience.

i always said amercians think they now everything about australian pythons and i still mange to say well if they know every thing about australian pythons why are they having so much trouble keeping the pure diamond pythons sorry if i upset anyone i don't really mean anything by this just some things i like to point out.
