how big of an enclosure should i have for 8ft Olive Male...?

Minimum would be a 4ft but five or six would be better.

yup minimum length 1/2that of the snake, minimum height and depth 1/4 that of the snake

Go the extra bit and make a 6fter, these snakes can get upt to the 12-14ft mark, you wouldn't want one that size in a four foot enclosure LOL
