Hot water - but not hot enough to cook!

Your choice whether or not to put it in a bag first to keep it dry - doesn't really matter.

The longer it takes to defrost, the more it decomposes, and the more gases that build up inside the stomach.

Cheers,
Aaron.

empty ice cream tub, fill with hot tap or kettle water, put rodent in freezer or snaplock bag, leave for 20 min until defrosted. if the bag floats put a small fishing sinker on it so it sinks

i get a bowl of pretty hot tap water but put the mouse in as the water heats up so it goes through a few diff temps... the final hot water is just hot enough so its only just bearable to put my finger in and put the mouse straight in the water. they defrost pretty quickly this way. and i squeeze it a bit to make sure its all defrosted.

i plan ahead a bit, i know i'm gonna feed the next day so put them in a ziplock in the fridge over night, onto the counter when i get home from work, 2 hrs later, 30 seconds under the warm water tap (water restrictions!) up to 38 deg or so and voila! breakfast (for a noctunal animal) of champions!

Put the forzen rodent into a bowl of warm-hot water. If theres several you may need to weigh them down with something, e.g - feeding tongs. When the rodent feels warm feed to snake. Easy!

i don't think i would put them in the microwave because there is always a slight chance of radiation and snakes aren't as tough as humans
