how fussy are childreni's with feeding?

i have recently bought a childreni and was given a rat with her. a week after i had her i gave her the rat and she took it straight away. i now have mice but she doesn't want to know about them. is this normal?

They can be very fussy ,i have have had some that will smash a rat but completely ingore mice and visa versa .
If it was feeding on rats i would just keep offering it rats ...

i know that young childreni can be quite fussy when eating, and most breeders recommend someone new to snakes to take a yearling to avoid problems.
