how long dose it take

applied for an import permit from NSW npws 4WEEKS AGO. for the last week i have been emailing them every day to try to get a rocket up their but. the reply usually sounds like this. "you application has been passed on the relevent department and is being processed". how long dose it take to process an import application for crying out loud.
is it normally this long or are these clowns just screwing me around??!

it usually takes only a few days if you fax in the application with credit card details but at the moment (busy breeding season) it is at least a 2 week turn around according to Hurstville.

If you mailed off the application with payment other than credit card it will take longer - when I used this method it would take 3-4 weeks in the quiet season.

NPWS are slow at this time of the year. We had a guy in Vic purchase our blonde macs 5 weeks ago & we only just received our export permit a few days ago.Poor guy was probably starting to think he had been ripped off considering he sent $ the first day he called us.
