How often to feed now?

Hey,

I ahve a MD python who is 15 months old now. He is onto weaner rats, and I was wondering if once a week is still an appropriate feeding interval, or if it needs to be longer apart.

You can feed small to medium every week or a large item every 2 weeks . Vary it a bit is good , you will be suprised at how big a rat they can handle , this helps them grow a good size head .

sorry to change the topic, but peas and corn, did u keep ur hatchie MD in a clik clak with a heat mat?

I got him when he was about 6 months old, and I left him in the click clack, which was put inside the full enclosure- big enough for him as an adult. The lid was on, but at an angle. After about an hour he was exploring the enclosure! He's an adventurous guy (like when he escaped and spent close to a week exploring my wardrobe)

I don't know exactly, but he'd be over a metre by now

id say say once a week is still ok.. maybe when he reaches 1.5 then switch over to 1 every 2 weeks..
