My daughter uses artificial turf in the bottom of her beardy's cage and has a couple spares cut out so she has one to use while the other is drying. AT least once a week she hoses off the mat & his rocks & lets them dry in the sun. It seems very easy and not at all time consuming. We actually just upgraded him to a bit bigger container and she has half bark, half turf on the floor.
