I like my new girl! ...but

....the feeling ain't mutual!

My new addition of a female Darwin arrived only yesterday from Rockhampton, and I probably should have left her for a few days to settle in, but she has a shed that is all over the shop, so I thought I'd give her a bit of a hand (literally lol)

After she went to ground outside in the backyard she adapted the all the nastiness that seems to be generally associated with Darwins S-shaped, persistant strikes, hissing, the whole bit. After about 10 minutes of giving her a mild misting with the hose to help both parties get the skin off a little easier, it was time to call her bluff...well, she wasn't bluffing! Got me a couple of goodies on the wrist and another over the top of my right hand I think it's those nasty female hormones at work! hehehe Anyway, her name is Tigerlily

(ps: sorry about the quality of the shots, I had a sqealling 5yr old taking them )

I was tagged by my similarly sized bredli on my wrist, at the base of my thumb, about 2 months ago. Now whenever i touch the area around the knuckle of my index finger it tingles with pain and numbness - really weird. I think i've got some nerve damage. But i know she was just telling me she loves me so it's ok..
