im going away for three weeks will my snake be ok

im going to bali for three weeks in september and i dont know to many people where i live so i dont think i can get some one to feed it will it be all right with out food

It shouldn't be to much of a drama as long as it gets a good feed before hand. A couple of concerns would be that it has enough water to last and heating. What type of snake is it? and where do you live?

it is a coastal carpet python and i live near brisbane and thank god some one anwsered and ive got one of those continus water bowls

itll be fine without food. whats a continuous water bowl? comes from a bottle as the water level drops?

that would do the trick for a few weeks but i wouldnt use it all the time mate. snakes like fresh water, i change mine every 2 days and clean the bowl. also if it comes up to a shedding it may want to soak so would need bigger, unless its a hatchy. just a thought.

cool, you may have to keep a close eye on humidity but, too much not good. foggers are great for frogs but id rethink about using one with snake. they generally like a relativly dry enviroment, except when they choose to soak [shedding etc]
