Hi ,
I was wondering , if i were to get more than one reptile from one location at the same time do i have to get numerous import licenses or will one get me out of trouble?

Multiple reptiles can go on the same import license aslong as theyre from the same breeder i think. Well thats what it looked like on the form.

1 import license per bredder / seller, but it seems all states are different on certain things so not sure about NSW

in victoria you can have more than one species per permit but not too sure in NSW

as many species as you like as many as you like i think...the nsw has space for different species and it doesn't set a limit on numbers as far as i can see

in nsw i was told by NPWS that you can have a number of species on the import licence as long as they are from the same breeder, being freighted at the same time. IF you get some reptiles from 2 different breeders, you need 2 import licenses. If you get reptiles from the same breeder but sent on different dates, you still need 2 different import licenses. So one import license is to be used for one consignment only.Through my experience this has been the case exactly.
