incubating

just wanting to know who lets there snakes incubate their own eggs and who puts them in an incubator, as this will be my first year trying to breed (spotteds and maybe carpets, im not sure the female is old enough) and id love and little bits of advise like this, as i dont have an incubator and wouldnt even know the 1st thing about trying to make one.

ive done both over the years but these days only use an incubator, as maternal incubatoin takes alot out of the females.

id use an incubator, if you let mom do the work the hatch % is usually less, it takes alot out of mom to do this, and you would probably have to rest her the following year. Def use an incubator if your not sure your female is ready, is she does produce i wouldnt make her incubate herself being so young. Hope this helps.
