Australian Reptile Park has their eggs on plastic conatiners (dishrack drainers) floating on water in a room that's heated to 32 degrees.

Is there a better hatch rate using this method then the regular incubator method?

its big in the us
and is a fairly simple process with alot less variables such as mixing medium ect so it would prolly work for more people more often.

l've been using the water method for 10-12yrs. for both exotic birds [37.2] and snakes [31.2] and never had a problem, the too much humidity for snakes is a non event as l've clinically tested it numerous times with different gauges and meters and there is definately no excess [moisture/humidity and with the birds at 37.2 [most of them] require a greater humidity and you get that at the higher temperature...the bonus with the water is a more stable temp.and a far lesser risk of cross infection from your substrate.........h2o is the go
