junglepython2, i dont really as the holes are too small to lose much moisture, and a week or so after pe-lay i set up the container with what ever moisture ration i need for that species and use the amount of condensation, or lack of it, in the container to fine tune the humidity level for what ever species is being incubated in that container.

The question I would be asking is, how many GTP's could I buy for the $9800 I saved by making my incubator and not buying one for 10K

WEll it depends who you buy the greens of nev!

Last season pailsy was selling them for $9800 to start with and then dropped them to $9000.

What do think the price of hatchys [ feeding well] will be this year. I dontt think that they will drop as much as everyone thinks. Around the $8000- $8500 mark for a snake that has had 10 feeds soubds fair to me.

Do you have any idea yet Rob?

everyone says that they will drop like womas did..... but they are forgeting that womas have been 2000 for the last ten years and the last two seasons have been the start of a decrease in price.

if i had greens this season they would be getting sold for around the 8000 8500 mark.

They would sell even if dearer then other breeders were selling them for they may take a bit longer but that wouldnt be an issue as a lot of first time green tree python would rather have an advanced juvie annyway

i imagine that all the hatchies offered last season were snapped up so supply should still outstrip demand this season i reckon. a 30% increase in hatchies for 2007 is a conservative figure ( remembering that 80% of stats are made up on the spot)

The price of GTP's and Womas would go up if they were put in class one reptiles. There would be more potential buyers out there.

Please lower the class NPWS
