just wondering is it ok to use to hold down thermostat and thermometer senser in enclosures and click clack's. anyone had problems with it

I would be concerned that it might be accidently swallowed if it came loose.
What about a spot of hot glue?

Hot glue wouild melt the case of the thermostat. Bluetac is fine, they don't eat it, and i have even plugged escape routes with it in the past. It's non toxic if it IS accidentally swallowed, this i know for a fact due to the large quantities of it my eldest daughter used to consume as a toddler....... Now there's a 21st announcement lol
