hi my diamond python just ate his pinky mouse and he stated eating it sidewards. he spent about 45mins geting it in the right position and he riped its stomich open ang the guts came out, he eventualy got it right but the next day he wan opening and closing his mouth alot. he is not grumpy or anything still hasnt biten me but i was just wondering if there could be anything wrong. he has stoped opening a nd closing his mouth now and seems fine though.

he's fine, you will find that they will "yawn" a bit after getting fed  in regards to finding the right way to eat his food item... he'll get there and the guts coming out, aside from messy and gross... nothing wrong at all |

When they yawn after eating it is to re-align their jaws from their feed - nothing to worry about! He was probably just in a hurry to eat ....lol
