Well i have one very upset little boy this morning cookie has passed away and jojo is so upset cookie ate last night many thanks to Martin for bringing over a live one for me all was well till 5am this morning where i found cookie and she spewed the mouse back up after getting it down.After all done i will never go a hatchie again i will be very careful where and who i get it off if i do buy again it will be one that has had more then one feed.




thank you to all who helped me trying to get cookie to eat........

now i need to find one but about year old for jojo poor little guy he keeps going to see where cookie is and her enclosure is empty if any one has a snake about year old and wanting to sell pls pm me

Not meaning any offence at all but if your son was always playing with snake that is probally why it died. Hatchies are very hardy but it sounds like a stress thing to me.

jojo did not play with cookie all the time only sitting next to her enclosure and watching her move around etc

it just sounds like it when you say that he likes it when he sleeps on his head, IMO a hatchie should be left alone till it sheds a couple of few times, infact IMO all snakes of any age should be left alone and only handled when nesecary.

Sorry to hear about cookie, i know there is nothing worse than having a hatchie that wont eat, we went through a similar situation and unfortunately lost our little guy aswell.

We've learnt from our experience and now we have 2 very healthy coastal hatchies, they are both eating very well and 1 has shed since we've had them. It pays to go through an exprerienced breeder, and second time around you know what to look out for and what questions to ask.
