But on both of them, you can't find anything. But im going to try anyway, and please help me out, it will be very appreciated. Now heres the questions.
Do i need to mist the enclosure once a day?
What can I use to see what humidity percentage is in the enclosure?
At 1yo, can I move him/her up to a enclosure approx. 6ftH, 3ftL, 600mmD?
Is that big enough?
Tempretures? They say, 23-30?
The best heating bulb?
Humidity percentage?
The best substate?(something that looks natural)
Thanks guys.

Misting is not necessarily required as the humidity can generally be controlled with a strategically placed water source (as in their water bowl).
You use a hygrometer to measure the humidity and aim for about 50% humidity.
That's a rather large enclosure for such a young python. I'd be holding off on that enclosure until about 2 years old... but it's entirely your choice. Just make sure there are plenty of places for the snake to hide.
Temperatures 28-32 degrees air temp at the hot end. Cool end can be cool as you like as the snake will regulate itself anyway (aim for about 20-26 degrees at cool end though).
My opinion on heating bulbs is to use ceramics, but personal choice plays a big part. I like ceramics because they can withstand turning on and off a lot more than an incandescent bulb.
Without doubt the BEST substrate is newspaper. It's cheap (read: free) and can be changed quickly and easily. If you're obsessed with making a "natural" looking substrate you can use something like Breeder's Choice (do a search), pine bark or desert sand.

i am using a single 150W Ceramic globe which i will test for a while, then if i feel i need another one i will get one.

Because during Summer you will want it to turn off , living up here in Brissy......
And yes I gree that enclosure is a buit large for such a Young python... Can it be modified at all to maybe only use the top half of the enclosure?? Would there still be neough yentilation to get a range of temps from top to bottom.....
Maybe attach a pic so that we can all see....
Subtrate.... I use Newspaper as I now have 4 enclosures...And it is much easier and hygienic to pull out every couple of days and swap over... The more natural looking subtrates are not only costly but can home bugs and parasites.... Being 12 I think you should go with something easy to maintain...

I usually keep the warm end of my coastals enclosure @ around 35 C which means the average temp of the whole enclosure is around 28-30 C. Take into account though that different snakes have different requirements - im not exactly shure that the temperatures for a coastal would be the same as for a jungle.
i would recommend that as long as the snake cant make contat with the lamp and you have a thermostat that any sort of heating lamp would be fine - dont bother with the UV lams and all that fancy stuff, you only really need that kind of stuff for lizards

Keeps an area in the hot end at 30 degrees nicely. The cold end sits around 20-25. You may find you might need 200-250W for your size. This will also depend on how many vents and areas the heat can escape from too.
Hope that helps

I dont want tthe humidity anymore then 55%. I was thinking 150W but now that im looking at a pair to breed, i'll be dividing the enclosure. I havnt made it yet but im just getting the dimensions right and heating ect. Since it would be 6ft high. Would this be good for full grown jungles? 90cmW, 3 1/2ftH and 50cmD. One more thing, What wood to use and what not to use?
Thanks guys.

I have then just used 12mm ply as a backing which i will eventually use polystyrene with to give it the fake rock effect.
As i said before i am using a 150w ceramic lamp with a thermostat, and plan on putting my snake it there once it's one year old (might even try and put him in sooner), i will have plenty of hides for the little fella so i think he should be ok.
As it has been said i probably wont worry about misters, i will just spray a mist bottle in the enclosure when it is shedding.
As for ventilation, i have 4 vents on the one side of the enclosure (2 up top, and 2 down bottom) which are about 200mmx100mm.
