| | | Just caught this guy in my back yard I just rescued this little guy from my dogs they were about to have him for lunch im pretty sure he escaped from a few houses away from the feral kids that live close me
Im sure he or she is 100% wild caught im thinking of going down the road soon to buy a really large click clack or something similar to house him in until I can make better arrangements for him he is about 40cm from head to tail
Just thought I would post this to get some advice and some opinions
There is no chance he just strolled in from the local creek its way to far away as you can see in the pic he he is very healthy
You imput and advice would be really appreciated
I do think he or she is wild caught but I have no problem with taking him back to the creek but my worry is I think he has be kept for a long period of time is it wise to release him back to the wild
thanx guys your advice is really appreciated

I would maybe drive it to the creek and let it go if you think it's wild

It's illegal for you to catch and keep it so the best thing to do is let it go nearby in suitable habitat, you will definately not be doing it and the local population any favours by keeping it. As for the creek being too far away, you'd be suprised how far they can roam.
Oh and if you think you can house a water dragon in a " large click clack" think again...

Water Dragons are found near any source of water, and it doesn't have to be permanent. This includes drains, fish ponds and swimming pools. Chances are it has been living there for a while.
