keeping pairs of seperate breeds.

hi guys, just lookin for some advice, i know that some people succesfully keep pythons of the same breed in there terrariums together, what i want to know is can i keep 2 seperate breeds of snakes in the one enclosure? do pythons ever get territorial? i currently have a 3 yr old atherton jungi with a prefect tempreament and am looking into purchasing an olive python hatchling and upgrading to buying a much larger enclosure. of course the hatchling will be kept seperate until its an appropriate size... any thoughts?

You run the chance of them being food and if not food there is a good chance they may breed causing possibly unwanted hybrids.

There has been a pic of an olive eating a carpet snake going around, i dont have it, maybe someone else does?

You got it all wrong they were just cuddling as snakes do , the diamond was accidentally suffocated and the olive is just doing mouth to mouth.

That would have to be one of the harshest husbandry lessons ever taught.

I'm betting anyone who owns large olives and other snakes will be double checking the door locks on their enclosures tonight
