But once they are yearlings i think its best to seperate them permanently. If you cant then seperate them for feeding and keep an eye on them for about 20 minutes after re-introducing them.

Providing they are the same size, it is usually ok, I think, but........ there have been comments made about cannabalism on occassions, so you have to live with that risk. |

Both coil up with each other and haven't had any problems. I probably won't keep any of my others together tho.
I have a related question tho, would people leave a pair that lives together, still together after they mate and while the female is gravid?

Playwell, there is plenty of documented cases of cannabalism, you'll find most people who've had problems are sick of telling people about it and being told they are wrong because "I've done it for years and never had a probelm" so they will likely not post to this thread.
