Kids and snakes

Thank goodness for digital photography, I have snapped so many pics since we got our new baby (snake that is), I thought I'd share the latest.

Isn't it great. I've always loved snakes, but have only just got my first (our first - we share). Kids have so much fun looking after them and learn respect for a fantastic animal. I get regular reports on exactly where Boof is in the cage and what he's doing! Jackson was bitten last week, he had a warm fuzzy mouse in the tongs and wasn't watching what he was doing, Boof was hungry... you can guess the rest BUT... he acknowledges that it was his mistake and still wanted to feed him again. Can't wait to convince my husband about that Olive.....
