oh ok i see, but i was kind of thinking of like a display like an exo-terra , but i think those there will be very useful if i breed em

Only some geckos are good for display. Much like many herps.

Nikki,
You'll notice that many Knobtail sp are very simple in their housing and husbandry requirements not needing any arboreal style decorations. They thrive in a standard enclosure of sand, a few hides etc.... Also, when it comes to display, visitors may constantly want to touch and see the animals which is a NO-NO for geckos..

Good Luck though, I use a glass tank without problems but may throw them in a tub eventually.....

ah ok thanks very much,so i will just have sand @ the bottom , a few hides anything else ?

p.s i have already done most of my research on feeeding and temps ......its on
reptiles australia forum

And say when i do get my gecko home do i need to have a little tub with a heat matt or just put it straight into the enclosure

Hey everybody im new on the forum. I was wondering where i can find info bout looking after a nephrurus. I bought a 3ft tank this arvo. I want to ready everything before i buy the gecko. Can anybody on here maybe give me some starter tips please this will be much appreciated. Thnx
